Table Assignments

While not a necessity, many couples like the formal feel and crowd control advantags of a seating chart. There are a lot of unique ways to tell your guests where they will be sitting. For example, use a particular type of bloom for each centerpiece and arrange the place cards on “stem” sticking out of flowerpots with blooms matching the centerpiece. I have also heard of couples using monochromatic ararngements on each table and using place cards of matching colors. If you’re using a traveling theme, consider using different countries or states in which you and your fiance share special memories to assign the tables.

You can think of many variations on this type of creative place card and table assignments. Favorite candies, important dates to the happy couple, the 12 days of christmas for a christmas wedding…. the possibilities are truly endless.

Remember to be creative in how you assign your guests to tables. It should be less of a chore and more of a game or a chance to say something personal about the newlyweds! Remember something blue….!
