Real Wedding: Kelly and Chase

This week, I’m featuring the wedding of Kelly and Chase in Southlake, Texas. Shhh… don’t tell: the bride is my sister!

Venue: Timarron Country Club, Southlake, Texas

Bakery: Texas Star Bakery, Hurst, Texas

Florist: The Wildflower, Dallas, Texas (also provided linens)

Q: What was the hardest part to plan?

A: The hardest part to plan was the table arrangements because we had a lot more people RSVP than we expected and really too many for the venue. Then an ice storm hit and there were a lot more seats than guests who could make it, so all that stressing was over nothing!

Q: What part was the most fun to plan?

A: The flowers. I had a great florist.

Q: What was your favorite moment?

A: My sister’s speech about how Chase was so perfect for me! My second favorite part was boarding the plane to the honeymoon!

Q: What was your “something blue”?

A: Nothing interesting. Just a ribbon pinned inside my petticoat.

Well, Kelly may not have though her something blue was interesting, but I think her wedding was beautiful! Here’s a picture from the ceremony – during a prayer- that I thought was so sweet! You can see Kelly dabbing at her happy tears!
